DescriptionBlack long sleeve cocktail dress with standing collar and three closely placed rows (18") of gray/black and white ostrich feathers along bottom. On the lower right side of the dress, within the feathers, is a black silk satin bow. Set in sleeves with an elbow dart 8.75" up the sleeve and a 4" metal zipper at each cuff. Two hook and eye closures above a 21" zipper down the center back.
The interior is lined in black plain weave silk with a label along the upper left zipper: "Geoffrey Beene" and two labels at the base of the zipper; "Bonwit Teller" and "612692/Union Made/ ILWU [international ladies garments workers union]/AFL-CIO."
