DescriptionThe ovoid-shaped vase is covered with a mottled turquoise glaze, and decorated with two sections of iridescent silver horizontal lines of varying thickness, each intersected by vertical, regularly spaced designs of wheat and crescent moons.
Signed Signed on base "MG" and Henry Street Settlement mark stamped inside foot.
Marks Henry Street Settlement mark incised inside foot: composed of three characters (from left to right), a half moon shape, facing right, inside which are two parallel horizontal lines, a stylized "e," and a stylized "S."
