DescriptionTwo-piece arched back and ribs of maple. Belly of fine-to-medium-grain spruce with F-shaped soundholes. Back, belly, soundholes, and fingerboard edged with binding of white and black plastic. Neck and headstock of maple. Grover brand tuning machines of brass. Fingerboard of ebony with fret markers of pearl in "split block" pattern and twenty-two frets of nickel silver. Nut of ivory. Adjustable bridge of ebony. Tailpiece of brass. Pickguard (modern) of plastic. Floating electronic pickup (later, removed). Brown sunburst finish. Hard-shell case (later).
