Description10 gold beads with granulated ends. One bead with double rows of granulation. Four gold amphorae pendants. Six gold petalled flower pendants. Two gold pomegranate pendants. Said to be strung in same order as found: (r-l) 1 pomegranate, 2 amphorae, 6 flowers, 2 amphorae, pomegranate. 7th head from right has double rows of granulation. Modern string.
ProvenanceMay 1945, said to have been found about 12 miles southeast of Medinet Gurob, Egypt, by Robert Gordon Faudree [see note 1]; 1959, sold by Faudree to Horace L. Mayer (b. 1899 - d. 1968), Williamstown, MA [see note 2]; to his widow, Florence Ellen Mayer, Williamstown; 1971, gift of Mrs. Mayer to the MFA. (Accession Date: January 10, 1972)
