DescriptionBody of crystal glass, cut with eight flutes. Made in three parts: head, body, and foot. Body and foot join with screw threads; head and body join with socket and tenon. Ferrules of silver. Headcap inset with mother-of-pearl. Five cupped keys of silver (d-sharp1, f1, g-sharp1, b-flat1, and c2), mounted on posts. Original partitioned case of mahogany, lined with red embossed paper. Cork-grease container of wood, wood-handled screwdriver, swab of green cloth on cloth-wrapped wire handle, and key for locking case.
