Blue background is set off by portrait of Frida Kahlo in center, Frida's head is flanked by two monkeys and surrounded by a flaming circle. Around the portrait appear objects associated with her life. On the right are a crucifix, wine bottle and glass, while below appear the dates 1907 1954 and two dresses (one with medical corset), To the left, a Star of David, "all seeing" eye, and bottle of poison are stitched. Above the portrait float a female and male figure, probably Frida and Diego Rivera. The artist's signature appears in the lower left corner.
