DescriptionBody carved in shape of long-billed bird from two hollowed-out pieces of hardwood, tied together in four places with twine or sinew. Belly and back of bird carved with faces. Painted red, green, and black. Integral wood handle pegged together with two small dowels. Stones (?) inside.
