DescriptionIn ?. Conoidal bore. Boxwood with ivory tips and mouthpiece. Made in four principal parts; the cap, which serves as an air-chamber for both tubes; the lip-stock with a double bore; the tubes of equal length. The lip-stock has two lips cut in it; the lip for the right-hand tube can be silenced by a cut- off shutter operated by a key (there is no shutter for the left-hand tube). The left-hand tube has six finger-holes, of which the first one from the top is partially plugged; four brass keys nominally called D-sharp (?), F-natural, and high D. The right-hand tube has four finger-holes; four brass keys, nominally called D-sharp (?), F-natural, B, and speaker (?). The lip-stock has a key for the left-hand tube marked 'C-Key'.
