DescriptionIn C. Conoidal bore. Varnished rosewood (?). Nickel silver rings. Rosewood headcap with cork-adjustment screw. Brass liner in headjoint and barrel. Made in five parts: headjoint, barrel, upper bodyjoint, lower bodyjoint and footjoint. Elliptical embouchure. Six finger holes. Eight cupped keys and eight touchpieces of nickel silver (Meyer system: c', c-sharp', d-sharp', f' x 2, g-sharp', b-flat', and c''), mounted on posts. Original leather-covered wood case with leather lining. Mutlicolored cotton mop-type swab with mahogany handle.
