DescriptionRim of mahogany. Tone ring of nickel silver with thirty-one hooks with ball-end nuts. Neck and headstock of mahogany. Headstock veneered on back with ebonized wood. Tuning pegs of ivory carved in openwork pattern. Fingerboard of ebony with binding of ivory and twenty-two frets of nickel silver. Fingerboard and headstock inlaid with engraved pearl in tree-of-life pattern. Neck heel inlaid with pearl in monogram of original owner. Nut and stringholder of ivory. Period bridge of ebony.
