DescriptionCoconut-shell body with skin belly; the back pierced carved with figure of Hanuman surrounded by bas relief carving of geometric design. Body pierced by turned hardwood neck. Two dorsally-mounted turned wood tuning pegs. Two silk strings tied to "spike" at lower end. Patch of "rosin" on treble top side of body. Bridge of tightly-rolled cloth, the outer layer (at least) light green. Sliding nut of twisted silk.
