DescriptionTwo-branch candelabra with a sculptural base with a cast bronze eagle attacking a gilded bronze snake. The sculptures rest on a rectangular marble base. The candelabra emerges from the end of the snake between the wings of the eagle. Two downward curving branches with candle sockets extend from a central shaft from which symmetrical swags of chain are attached above and below to delicate scrolls that end in floral ornaments.
