DescriptionIn C. Conoidal bore. Varnished rosewood; ivory headjoint. Silver rings. Rosewood headcap, with circular inserts of ivory and silver, and cork- adjustment screw. Brass liner in headjoint and barrel. Made in four parts: headjoint, barrel, bodyjoint, and footjoint. Circular embouchure with raised flanges at each side. Six finger holes. Thirteen cupped keys (fourteen touchpieces) of nickel silver (Meyer system: b, c', c-sharp', d-sharp', f' x 2, g-sharp' x 2, b-flat' with 2 touchpieces, c'' x 2, d-trill, and e-trill, mounted on posts. Modern hardshell case with cloth lining.
