DescriptionShell of machine-cut wood with closed bottom. Carved plug of wood (diameter 11 mm) in side for introducing water. Suede leather head held onto shell with hoop of suede wrapped with red cloth. Mallet of walnut (?) with small spherical head and widened handle shaped for finger grip. Drum and mallet formerly tied together with cotton string.
