DescriptionWaisted bottle-shaped body (of oval cross-section) constructed of two hollowed out halves of red cedar (?), bound with sinew near proximal end and at center. Seam sealed with pitch. Concealed double reed of red cedar (?) affixed inside proximal half of body. Lozenge-shaped embouchure hole.
