DescriptionCrooked in C. Conoidal-cylindro-conoidal bore. Brass. Two disc valves, identical in design with those of No. 186 [MFA no. 17.1986]. The first valve is a semi-tone valve, the second is a whole-tone valve. Two circular coiled crooks: the smaller one (in which the mouthpiece is inserted) has a conoidal bore and air-column length of 107.5 cm, and the larger intermediate one has a cylindrical bore and an air-column length of 176.5 cm. Funnel-shaped mouthpiece with silvered rim.
