DescriptionAlto in F. Three double valves of the Viennese type. Brass. Cylindro-conoidal bore. Tuning slide. The valve mechanism consists of three long levers pivoted on one end and connected under the finger touch-pieces with valves by means of articulated rods; the valve levers are returned into the initital position by flat springs with rollers; the key pivots and spring roller guides are soldered to a long strip of brass. The valve tubes are reinforced on both sides by rectangular sheets of brass. Cornet-à-pistons mouthpiece.
