DescriptionConoidal bore. Brass. The tube is bent into a G-shape in the same plane. Cup-shaped mouthpiece; moderately flaring bell. The instrument is braced with a turned wooden rod. The original of this instrument was found in an excavation in Pompeii and is now preserved in the National Museum in Naples.
