DescriptionMade of a goat's horn. Mounted with a brass band near the bell. Four equally spaced finger-holes. Irregular oval shaped integral mouthpiece carved in the small end and similar to that of the [MFA's] shofar [no. 17.1961]. Irregular initial bore of circular shape with two slots filed diametrically opposite one another.
