DescriptionChanter and one drone, both with cylindrical bore. Leather bag with brocaded silk, gilt braid, and fringe. Two stocks of ivory. Ivory blow- pipe with a leather flap which serves as a stop-valve for air. The ivory cap serves as an air-chamber for the chanter and has an auxiliary cap for the drone connected with it; both inserted in one stock. A chanter with bell, both of ivory, seven holes in the front (the lowest one consists of two small holes for half-stopping), a thumb-hole in the rear. The drone has a small decorative bell.
