DescriptionIn G. Conoidal bore. Boxwood, varnished yellow-brown. Ivory rings. Made in four parts: headjoint, upper and lower bodyjoint, and footjoint. Headjoint made from block of oval cross-section, with two parallel bores connected by a passage and covered by oval ivory plate with cork stopper. Ivory headcap with cork-adjustment screw. Upper bodyjoint has circular hole (15 mm. diameter), located 32 mm. above c-sharp'' fingerhole (measured from centers of holes). Elliptical embouchure. Six fingerholes, bored obliquely, those for e' and c-sharp'' stopped by open-standing keys. Four additional round keys of silver- plated brass (d-sharp', f', g-sharp', and b-flat'), mounted on blocks (d-sharp' mounted on ring) with SATK.
