DescriptionViolin form. Body (back and ribs), neck and peg-box carved out of solid piece of maple. Belly of soft pine with f-holes. Both back and belly are highly arched. Finger-board of ebony. Tail-piece attached to ivory tail-pin. Four strings; movable bridge, pegs of simplified violin pattern. Bass-bar and sound-post. Light yellow varnish.
