DescriptionRed silk damask, satin ground patterned in plain weave; brocaded with silver wire wound on a silk core, silver frisé yarn and chartruese and pink silk. Symmetrical pattern of palmettes, leaves and flowers in small scale, connected by thin wavy stems. Selvedge on both sides of eight cords. Edge turned in and basted on all sides.
