DescriptionPlain natural linen ground with band and circular medallion is formed of inwoven weft loop pile of polychrome wools. Medallion shows purple ground decorated with red and yellow lozenges, spots of red,orange, yellow, pink and green, and a linear pattern of linen weft loops. Band shows areas of pink, red blue and green pile. Along one side, a wide band of open warps and a warp fringe. Many holes. Pile worn off in large areas.
