Description(Vienna: Vereinigung Bildender Künstler Österreichs [1902]) Quarto; [14 ff., plus 2 stubs]; original publisher's printed beige wrappers (cream-colored manila folder, green cloth spine).
Special issue of Ver Sacrum, printed in edition of 500 copies under the editorial direction of Kurzweil, Moser, Roller, and Stolba. While the illustrations are here printed by photomechanical stereotypes, subscribers and friends could purchase impressions of the original woodcuts from the artists. The highly inventive lettering for the calendar pages is by Roller; it notably inspired similar psychedelic lettering in the 1960s (see, for instance, 2005.423).
