DescriptionCircular copper chafing dish of rusticated, medievally-inpired design has hemispherical vessel form with applied band at rim with wrought nails, and horn handle; worn, tin-plated interior. Circular, slightly domed lid has applied strap handle at center. Vessel rests in a tripodal stand made of flattened straps and secured with wrought nails to circular wooden base. Central burner adhered to base in similar fashion has commercially-made heating elements.
