DescriptionThis excellent micromosaic brooch is set into a a large rectangular piece of onyx which has been badly damaged and repaired. It illustrates a bunch of varied flowers and their leaves with intricately shaped tessarae. The gold frame, probably not made with the micromosaic, is covered with a chased scrolled design. The pin back is original to the frame.
Marks
There is a possible mark on back on side bezel but it is unrecognizable.
