DescriptionOne of a set of four (with 2001.73.1-2, .4). Circular with raised sides chased with spiral flutes and gadrooned rim. The center is engraved with a coat of arms against drapery mantling.

Struck on reverses with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1752-53) and with maker's mark of Frederick Kandler.
InscriptionsThe arms are those of Weddell impaling those of Ramsden, as borne by William Weddell of Newby.
