谷の松風ひゞく滝つせ
奉額 山もりに迷子逢けりはるの月
子持石 不睡石 長命水
当山の本尊/ならびに十王/の像ハ行基の/作にて誠にあらたなる霊験/なり境内にある不睡石に/眼病を祈れバかならず/験あり又長命水を/服する者ハいかなる難病も/愈べしと観世音の告に/よつて当寺の住持をはじめ/諸人もその利益を蒙りたる/もの少なからずまた/子持石を嗣子なき/者信心して祈れバ/福徳智慧ある善男子を/授かることひとへに円通/大士の大慈/大悲の本願/妙智力を/仰ぎ/尊むべし

NOTES:
[1] Much of Bigelow's collection of Asian art was formed during his residence in Japan between 1882 and 1889, although he also made acquisitions in Europe and the United States. Bigelow deposited many of these objects at the MFA in 1890 before donating them to the Museum's collection at later dates.
