DescriptionLarge-scale pattern of morning glories brocaded with gold and silver on ground shot with gold. At top, warp end, plain yellow satin with woven inscription in Russian, and crowned eagle at right, crowned double-headed eagle at left. Both selvedges present. Said to have been bought in 1870.
