DescriptionEmbroidered picture of a skating scene worked in polychrome wools and silks. Scene shows figures skating on pond at right and man and woman around a fire at left. In background, three buildings, including a windmill. Central scene of "Old Man Winter" in front of fire with tree behind probably derived from the print Winter by J. Sadeler after H. Bol, 1580. Condition: fair, colors are faded
