DescriptionOne painted block originally from a tomb wall. Figures in red, yellow, and black, with titles in black. This block of painted relief is badly abraded over most of the surface. Only two figures remain to the far right, one on top of the other. Each faces right and retains much original color of red and black. There is a notch in the form of a right angle cut in the right top corner of the block itself.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, tomb of Nekhebu G 2382 [(originally thought to be a tomb, but now known to be a jumbled deposit of limestone blocks from other nearby tombs)], court, originally from G 2381. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1913: assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
