DescriptionWhite ribbed taffeta ground with small self figure, brocaded with silks in shades of pink, plum and green and flat gold and silver wires. Pattern shows vertically undulating and twisting ribbon-like stripe composed of narrow green lines and golden rays flying out horizontally: floral sprigs fill interspaces. Selvedge at right side, shows brownish stripe and white cords. Metals worn off in many places. Ground slightly discolored.
