DescriptionGround: light neutral linen, very ragged with right hand upper corner gone. Design: a wreath enclosing a monogram surmounted by a crown and the date 1704 and a sprinkling of flowers and birds, below this a landscape with a fountain, a shepherd and a shepherdess, and at the bottom three rows of small rectangles filled with conventional all-over patterns worked, in colored silks (several shades of green, blue, pink and violet) and tarnished metal thread.
