空蝉 宇津蝉の身をかへてけり このもとに猶人からの なつかしきかな

渡邊綱 綱ハ一条戻橋に茨木が腕を切 家に秘(ひめ)置たるを一夜 綱が伯母きたりて蜜(ひそか)に彼腕を見せよといふ なつかしき伯母なれバ開(ひらきて)見するに腕を携へて虚空に飛ひさりぬ

NOTES:
[1] Much of Bigelow's collection of Asian art was formed during his residence in Japan between 1882 and 1889, although he also made acquisitions in Europe and the United States. Bigelow deposited many of these objects at the MFA in 1890 before donating them to the Museum's collection at later dates.
