DescriptionWarp of linen; weft of wool; design consists of two birds (ostriches ?) alternating with two quadrupeds, each enclosed in a trapezoid; woven with red, green, brown, purple and blue wool, framed by a serranated bord. Probably a shoulder band; found in Fayoum.
