DescriptionRibbed brown wool cloth; mostly cut away. Design: motif from tapestry band, such as in 37.380, of pink, deep blue and yellow wool and cream cotton. In center, a cream lozenge within a pink lozenge, placed on a larger rectangle (9.5 x 5.5 cm.) of blue. Edged on four sides with narrow yellow stripe. In the four corners of the rectangle are cream birds, the upper two affronted, the lower two addorsed. At left and bottom is needle-weaving border (2.3 to 2.8 cm. wide) of cream on pink, in conventional floral motif. In lower corner is square medallion of cream on blue. See note on 34.120.
