DescriptionPerformed at the Bizen-ya in the pleasure quarters of Ise Furuichi, the town adjacent to the Ise Shrine. Despite the title, the decorative cherry blossom design behind the dancers appears to be on hanging curtains (noren) rather than slidfing door panels (fusuma).
