DescriptionRigid fan with painted silk. On the obverse are pink peonies and cherry blossoms with an orange, green, brown and blue butterfly. On the reverse is a domestic scene; two women with a parasol and a child in a boat being steered by a man in a large hat while one man carries buckets of water into to his home and two others stand on their garden terrace watching the women pass by. Carved ivory handle with flowers and birds.
