万延1年（＝安政7年）1月、大坂、中の芝居、前狂言「けいせい百千鳥（ももちどり）」。暖簾には坂東彦三郎の屋号「音羽屋（おとわや）」俳名「薪水（しんすい）」、実川延三郎の屋号「井筒屋（いずつや）」俳名「延若（えんじゃく）」、嵐璃寛の屋号「はむらや」俳名「璃寛（りかん）」などの文字の一部がみえる。嵐璃寛は立役（たちやく）、女方（おんながた）ともに演じたが、女方の方が好まれた。 -- 武藤 純子Ｋ
