DescriptionMinkkinen was inspired by the photographer Josef Sudek in the making of this photograph. He showed his taxi driver a reproduction of Sudek's "Spring in Strahov Garden" (2003.179) in a book and asked the driver to take him to the spot where that photograph was made. It is there that Minkkinen made this photograph. On his way back to his hotel, Minkkinen discovered and visited Sudek's studio, which is close by.
