DescriptionA dress in two parts, of ombré purple taffeta, bodice boned and fitted coming to deep point center front and back, elbow length bell shaped sleeves with black and white lace and rose colored ribbon undersleeves, "V" neck, hooked down center front, (b) skirt very full with fullness pleated to waistband all around, center front panel of skirt, edge of sleeve ruffles, front closing of bodice and yoke line of bodice trimmed with purple and gray silk chenille fringe; skirt lined throughout with buckram and faced with purple satin, bodice line with white glazed cotton; said to have been worn by the Parker ladies.
