This wooden boat model depicts a sailing vessel with a crew of six male figures. All figures are painted reddish-brown and wear black wigs and white kilts. Their eyes are detailed with black and white. A bowsman stands in the prow as lookout, four rowers kneel in the middle of the craft, and a helmsman is located at the stern of the boat manning a stanchion attached to the rudder. Arms were carved as separate components and attached to the bodies of the figures via small pegs. The boat is white with red lines on the deck to indicate divisions and beams.
