DescriptionCibola White ware, Gallup Black-on-white style. Features of this piece include: round bird-body, hooked-beak head, knob-like horns, small tail pronation, four webbed feet and one remaining knob on back. Circles, filled with vertical stitched lines decorate the wing and chest area. A circular design element is repeated with hatched shapes, and solid black lines repeat the form of head, beak, feet, and tail.
