DescriptionTall-necked black jar with wide bulge at mid-body. Band (3 1/2" wide) of bas-relief carving encircles vessel at mid-body. Carving depicts an undulating serpent that fills the encircling band. Head of serpent is crested and lightning arrow projects from its mouth.
