DescriptionWoman's dress of pale greenish-yellow, trimmed with yellow cut and uncut velvet in three feathers and bow design on light blue satin ground. (a) Bodice fitted and boned with bow peplum at center back, low square-cut neckline, buttoned down center front, and elbow length sleeves with yellow chiffon undersleeves; peplum and its bow, narrow vestee at center front, trimming, bows at neck and on sleeves lined with yellow satin; narrow turned back collar, lapels and cuffs of velvet, neck and cuffs finished with pleated yellow and white chiffon; stamped on inner waistband: "Worth, 7 Rue de la Paix, Paris." (b) Skirt and train in one piece; front of skirt with horizontal drapery, pleated yellow chiffon and yellow silk, fly fringe trimming at bottom; several brownish stains.
