ProvenanceMade in 1808/9 by William Hook as a wedding present to his sister Hannah, who married Peter Folsom on Aug. 17, 1809. The table formed part of a group of pieces made for the wedding including Cat.s 70, 99, 100, and 101. It descended in the Folsom family and was presented by Hook's grandniece Mrs. Mactaggart, nee Elsie B. Folsom.
