DescriptionThe back of this lolling chair is tall and widens slightly toward its serpentine crest rail. The broad seat is upholstered over the frame. The arms are of serpentine form and their surfaces cant inwards at the back and are molded toward the front. The down-curving arm support is molded, and turns sharply downward into the molded front leg. Each front leg tapers and has a molded surface on the front and side, amd the square rear legs curve outward/ There are H-stretchers amd a stretcher between the rear legs, all with rounded tops. The legs are arms are mahogany; the frame is maple and birch.
