DescriptionThe stiles are molded but the top rail is plain with a continuation of the outer bead of the stiles. The interlaced splat has a wide, eccentric center piercing, and only the two upper scroll ends are carved. There is a molded shoe, and the seat is upholstered over the frame. The cabriole front legs have pointed knees carved with acanthus leaves flanking a thin central diamond with punched borders. There are claw-and-ball feet at the front with straight claws of which the talons are raked. The rear legs taper from the square and expand again at the foot. There are small brackets between the seat rails and the rear legs.

The pine corner blocks have been reattached. The upholstery is a modern reproduction.
