DescriptionNatural linen damask communion cover with four scenes from the Passion of Christ: The Agony in the Garden, the Flagellation, the Crucifixion, and Resurrection; beneath each scene is a verse from the Bible written in German; lambs with foliate scrolls along the side borders; inscribed in the center "Presented by Deacon Joseph Kettell to the New North Church, 1812"
